KEF installs state-of-the-art ‘Music Cube’ listening facility at Hong Kong’s Hotel ICON

Pioneering British audio brand, KEF, is launching its unique listening facility, the KEF Music Cube, at the Hotel ICON in Hong Kong between 12 June and 2 July 2018.
The KEF Music Cube is a unique, portable music room. Rendered in double-glazed tempered glass with a unique interior design, it provides a highly insular, shielded acoustic space in which visitors can relax and enjoy the high-fidelity reproduction of high-resolution music. The Music Cube also incorporates an inspired innovation created by KEF in collaboration with globally renowned Dutch designer Marcel Wanders – the LS50 Wireless ‘Nocturne’ loudspeakers.
The Hotel ICON is a five-star hotel with a passion for promoting local art, culture and music in the Tsim Sha Tsui area of Hong Kong. These shared passions of design, art and culture led KEF to choose the Hotel ICON as the perfect venue for the installation of its Music Cube.
For visitors to the Music Cube, KEF has prepared a five-minute, ‘KEF Music Cube Music Journey’, allowing fans to appreciate the unrivalled, high-performance design of the LS50 Wireless Nocturne while also enjoying its outstanding, high-resolution streaming music playback. This exquisite musical demonstration encompasses a diverse range of music, including female a Capella singing, the lush instrumentation of a symphony and energetic rock ‘n’ roll.
